ViewFontX Description

Ever wondered how to type a certain character from a certain font that you need? Well, wonder no more with this handy utility! This small application allows you to view every ASCII character (in any size, font and style you select) of any installed font, and will also show what the exact keystrokes are needed to type the character! You can also print these handy tables for quick reference. This is a must have utility and only $5 shareware!

What is ViewFontX you ask?
This small application allows you to see every ASCII character of any font installed. You can also find out the key combinations to get a certain character.

Installing ViewFontX:
Drag the "ViewFont X v1.10" folder to your Applications folder.

Fonts:
Change the current font, size and style by using the "Font" and "Size" popup menus or the Font menu selections. When using the Font menu to change the font and style, you must either have text selected in the Text tab, or have the cursor blinking in the text. If not, you must use the font and size popup menus or the font size slider control in the window.

Copy and Paste:
Copy from the Main Window using the standard Copy option from the "Edit" menu.

Misc.:
You can select one character from the Main Window to find out what key combination will give you that character from the keyboard.

Select the "Keys" tab to show a list of all ASCII characters and the key combinations to access them, the list can also be printed (but to do so, you must click any item in the list).

Select the "Grid" tab to show a grid of all ASCII characters and the key combinations to access them.

Printing:
As usual, print by selecting the "Print" option from the "File" menu.
